It came upon me that my children needed piano lessons. So in August they started. I have been serenaded each night to the rousing renditions of "Mary Had A Little Lmab," "Billy Boy," "Ode to Joy," "The Flyer," "Go Tell Aunt Rhodie," "Bingo," "Old Macdonald," and a quickly increasing repertoire of other childhood favorites. It's a good deal of work toting them to and fro and insisting on practice twice a day (for 10-15 minutes each time), but I think it is worth it. They are making good progress.

And here is a photo from our yearly sojourn to the mall. The highlight is always the escalator.
